This was a solid buy for the price!! It does exactly what I needed without costing a bunch.

I tried MindMup because I just wanted to make a quick, basic mind map, but I felt confused pretty much right away. The website makes it sound like it’s simple and easy to jump into, but that was not really my experience.

The buttons weren’t very obvious to me, moving things around felt clunky, and I kept clicking things expecting one result and getting something totally different. Even figuring out saving or sharing seemed more complicated than it needed to be, especially for something that’s supposed to be quick.

Maybe it’s better once you already know where everything is, but as a new user I found it more frustrating than helpful. I ended up giving up and using a different tool instead.

I just used it with my Google Drive and it was smooth. Saving maps to Drive didn’t take much effort at all, so based on my most recent try, I’m happy with it

I used it for a few basic mind maps, and to be fair, it does handle simple stuff okay. But once I tried adding more detail or building out a bigger plan, I kept running into limits. Maybe I was expecting too much, but it started feeling restrictive fast.
A bunch of things I thought would be included either felt missing or just not very useful, like better styling options, easier exports, and collaboration tools that actually help. I kept wondering if I was just not finding the right settings, but even after poking around, it still felt kind of unfinished unless you pay, and even then I’m not sure it would’ve been enough.
It’s probably fine if you just need quick notes or a simple visual outline. For actual planning, though, it got frustrating for me, and I stopped using it after a few tries. Maybe it works better for other people, but it wasn’t what I needed...

mindmup works alright when I’m just putting together a simple map, but once things start getting a bit bigger, it really begins to slow down. I’ve also had a couple of moments where my changes didn’t seem to save right away, which isn’t exactly reassuring. It’s not like the tool is unusable, but for anything important, I’d probably think twice before using it.

I had an issue with my account and shot mindmup support an email. They got back to me fast and sorted it out without making it a whole thing. it was nice dealing with actual helpful support when I needed it. Super chill.

I’ve been using this to share maps with my team, and it’s been really easy so far. Nothing complicated, just works the way I hoped it would, which is nice.

I’ve been using mindmup for quick little maps, and it does the job fine. The only thing is the export stuff feels a bit hit or miss sometimes. Like, it exports, but the format doesn’t always come out how I thought it would. Sharing is easy enough at first, but if you want more control it gets a little confusing. overall it’s not bad, I just wish there were a few more Simple options.
